Playtots Advanced Preschool

State Certified Preschool for children 2-5 yrs. School operates from September through June.

Playtots is a unique preschool program which integrates many different teaching styles. All of our exceptional teachers are certified and have many years of experience. Our philosophy is based on teaching to the individual child, so our staff to student ratio is low. Our child friendly facility, including a full size gymnasium, art room, and dance studio, allows children many different spaces in which to learn and experience. This state certified school has all new equipment, playground, materials & exceeds state safety standards.

Our program provides social, emotional, physical, and educational growth and development of our young students in a friendly, nurturing and safe environment. Our carefully planned classes focus on:

  • Encouragement and support of each child’s ability to question, think and problem solve.
  • The introduction and practice of early reading skills including phonics and reading readiness using a multi-sensory approach.

Playtots is a great way for mom & tots to learn and develop together.

Under the guidance and supervision of Stephanie Maquat our Playtots Program Director and certified teacher, each one hour class includes a little music, story time, gymnastics (tumbling), arts & crafts and free play. The program will focus on sensory skills and socialization specific to each age level.

This semi-structured program will offer plenty of free play time in our child safe playroom.

Kids need to wear either slip-proof slippers or non-slip socks. Every Playtot program fills up quickly so please register early to avoid disappointment. For more information please contact Stephanie Maquat at extension 114.

Our Mini Circus is designed to engage your toddler in a variety of gross and fine motor skills, encourage their imaginative thinking and make age appropriate exercise as easy as A,B,C .  Join us as we explore Animal Adventures, Ball Balancing, Carnival Capers, Dino Discovery Day and Fantastic Frog Fun.  Each week will also include Musical Movement, Parachute Play and a Billion Bubbles.  Come “clown” around with us and meet new friends.

Step right up!   Join us for a special five week session designed for preschoolers ages 3 –5  where imagination, physical fitness and art all meet “under the big top”.   This interactive adventure will engage your child and focus on enhancing gross/fine motor skills as  we explore scarf juggling, hi-stepper cup walking, floor tightrope balancing, seal hoop tossing, elephant trunk races, strength training with dyna bands, popcorn and lollipop cooperative games,  “the Big Top parachute shake”  and other exciting circus stunts.  Your child will have fun exercising in a colorful and non-competitive  environment while training to earn their “Clown Nose”.  Simple Circus crafts will be available each week to make and take.  We hope to see you ringside this winter!
